Every member of the outdoors community has a role to play in the effort to create an accessible and welcoming environment for all people. That includes you — the hiker, biker, camper, water skier or angler who understand the power of outdoor recreation and want all people to share in its wonder.

By joining Together Outdoors, you are lending your voice, talent and resources to the movement to make the great outdoors great for everyone. As a TO supporter, you will:

We offer a variety of tools to educate and equip you to make a difference. Our Resource Hub, toolkits and training modules are created by experts and regularly updated to provide in-depth information on issues commonly encountered in the outdoor adventure space.

Together Outdoors builds on the work of innumerable individuals and groups that have long led the effort to make the outdoors accessible and welcoming to all people. We encourage all our members and supporters to learn about and consider getting involved with these important organizations, which span the country and nearly every type of outdoor activity. What Else Would You Like to Know?

  • Together Outdoors was founded by the non-profit Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), America’s leading coalition of outdoor recreation trade associations and organizations working to promote the growth of the outdoor recreation economy and activities.

  • ORR has been pivotal in helping enable the Together Outdoors coalition. TO also pursues grants and donations from outdoors-related companies, organizations and individuals.

  • Together Outdoors is part of ORR, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations to the group may be tax-deductible depending on several factors. Check with the IRS or your tax preparer for information specific to your tax situation.

  • While much of Together Outdoors’ work takes place locally, it is currently a national organization. There are no regional, state or local operations.
